NC Tool Sharpener: Amada TOGU III
• This machine insures that all of our turret tooling is in optimum condition for the highest quality of punched parts. Most tool sharpeners rely on human knowledge and experience to properly sharpen tools. This results in tools that are not consistently sharpened to their optimum condition. The TOGU largely removes this element and helps to assure that the sharpening process is done correctly.

NC Press Brakes: Amada RG125, Amada RG80, Amada RG50
• Although they vary in tonnage and bed length, all of our Amada press brakes have identical NC controllers. Once a part is defined, it can run on any of the brakes that has sufficient capacity to handle it.

Haeger Hardware Insertion Presses
• Our Hardware Insertion capabilities include two (2) Haeger 924 presses and one (1) Haeger 924 Window Touch. The Window Touch is perfect for hardware intensive parts because it provides Auto Feed capabilities as well as being able to keep track of the number of pieces of each type of hardware that have been inserted.

Spotwelders
• Two spotwelding stations, 100 amp and 130 amp

MIG Welders
• Four (4) high duty cycle MIG welding stations

TIG Welders
• Four (4) high duty cycle TIG welding stations

Robotic MIG Welders
• OPF currently has one robotic MIG welder on line and a second welder is being relocated from our Ohio facility to double our capacity in this area. This will be brought into service around the first of the year. Robotic welders are a great aid in producing high volume, quality parts.

Powder Coat Paint Line
• OPF has installed a new, automated powder coat paint line. The line includes a three stage washer, dry off and cure ovens, a new powder application system and approximately 450 feet of motorized conveyor track. The line moves at about 6 feet per minute and has the capacity to paint upwards of 150 cabinets per shift. This represents a major improvement to our finishing capabilities.

Laminate Application Line
• We have also put in a brand new laminate application area. Built on the same lines as the very successful line at our previous location, the new line also increases our throughput capacity to upwards of 100 cabinets per day.

Value-Added Assembly Area
• Space was a major limiting factor at our previous location. The ability to provide value-added services was minimal due to lack of space to stock the necessary inventory, as well as perform the actual assembly operations. The new facility provides the space to take this important capability into account.

Finished Product Storage
• As already mentioned, space has been a limiting factor for us in several areas. In order to better respond to rapidly changing requirements, we have installed hi-pile pallet racking that allows us to provide kanban storage and also other items that are scheduled for shipment within a foreseeable timeframe. Depending on the type of product, we can keep up to 1500 cabinets of various types and finishes ready for anticipated customer requirements.

In addition to the major equipment listed, OPF has a wide range of supporting tools and equipment for quality assurance and to facilitate the assembly and finishing of products.
